It was fun, we were introduced to the projects we will be doing for this year.

Week 2

This week, we were introduced even more to our first project of this grade: crime documentary. We were also introduced to our new group just for this project. On the second project of this grade, we can go back to our usual team.

What we did?

Watched some crime documentary intros and filling a Google Doc about the technical elements and meaning present in the intro and its poster.

Haven't gotten into making the project, so none.

Week 3

This week, we were introduced even more to our first project of this grade: crime documentary. We're also introduced to our first theory of grade 12.

What we did?

Watched even more crime documentary intros. Learned the "Livingstone & Lunt" theory.

Week 4

We learned more theories of media. We also began doing research for our documentary project.

What we did?

Discussed about the documentary project, did storyboard and risk assessment. Also learned "Power and the Media" theory.

Week 5

We continued with our project, as well as doing research for our upcoming test next Wednesday.

What we did?

We did storyboard and also created a filming schedule. We did research in groups of two on Jessica Wongso's murder case on local and international news, with the incorporation of AI to summarize the points we made.

I was absent yesterday, on Wednesday.

Solutions

I need to catch up. My classmates seemed to have already watched videos on Jessica Wongso's case yesterday.

Week 6

We continued with shooting our project. We also did some more classwork.

What we did?

Shot our documentary, and recorded the voice-overs. Also did a classwork in which we need to write a short story about the future. I wrote a dystopian future where the government use AI to silence people standing in their way.

Problems

Still need to catch up, so next week I can start editing.

Week 7

I started editing the intro text for our documentary project.

What we did?

Began project editing on After Effects.

Problems

I will be taking part in a competition on September 10, which is in 8 days. I'll need to hurry with my editing task.

Solutions

I need to use my time well and finish editing quickly.
